An absolutely unique, moonlike crater landscape awaits you: The stony karst landscape of Silberen is one of the most special things Switzerland has to offer. The bizarre shapes of the karsts are fascinating and again and again there is an even more beautiful formation to admire. How did these shapes, furrows and crevices come into being? We will get to the bottom of these and other questions. Surprisingly, a special alpine flora grows in the midst of the countless rocks. A visually beautiful contrast! There are also other unusual things to experience: For example, a telephone on the side of the path, in the middle of the rock and also sometimes a wonderful view of the deep blue Klöntalersee.

A certain amount of surefootedness is required on this hike because of the cart fields – but nowhere is it exposed. Even for those who are not completely free from giddiness, this hike can be mastered without any problems. However, you should bring along a good physical condition.

Since the access road to the Pragelpass is closed for motor vehicles on weekends, this tour takes place on a Friday. A lift from Klöntal, Richisau will be organized by the hike leader.
