Night-time wilderness – evening hiking with thermal imaging
Tour description
Experience the area around Langenberg Wildlife Park in a way that few others ever do.
When dusk casts shadows across the forest and the familiar view disappears, a new dimension of sight opens up.
On this guided hike, you will see what moves in the undergrowth, rests behind tree trunks or moves silently through the night. Using modern thermography, we discover the heat signatures of wild animals, their paths and their proximity – often closer than one would expect. In moments of deep tranquillity, an intense, almost magical experience of nature emerges.
In cooperation with Thermfox GmbH (Aadorf), participants have access to state-of-the-art thermal imaging cameras from ThermTec and Nocpix. You can test different devices yourself and experience how precisely and impressively this technology makes nature visible. A short introduction is included in the tour price.
Late winter and early spring offer ideal conditions for this: few leaves, clear structures in the terrain and an unobstructed stage for night-time life in the forest.

Geführte Wanderung inkl. Nutzung und Einführung in moderne Wärmebildkameras (ThermTec & Nocpix). Zusätzlich erhalten Teilnehmende einen 50 % Gutschein auf den Tourenpreis für den Kauf einer Wärmebildkamera bei Thermfox oder einem Partner-Fachhändler.
